Since 1982, Tundra Spas has been faithfully supplying the people of Alaska with professional spas and swim-spas.  The need for recreational enjoyment, hydrotherapy and stress reduction is high in today’s modern society. Our mission and goal is to fulfill that need.  



In 1992 Tundra Spas began searching for a spa that was exactly right for our customers. Being unable to purchase equipment and spas that could hold up to our stringent and rigorous demands, we began to build our own spa, the Tundra Spa brand.  This proved to be a daunting yet very rewarding task and now, 15 years later, we find ourselves holding faithfully to our mission goals.



In 2003 we made a bold move from the Kenai Peninsula to the Fairbanks area to better serve our customers.  Landing in North Pole in October 2003 we quickly realized that the City of Fairbanks is where we needed to be.  Just six months later in April 2004, Tundra Spas opened a showroom in Fairbanks, on University Avenue, near Fred Meyer West.  While this was in Fairbanks, it still was not exactly what our customers needed.  In 2005 we purchased our own building and are conveniently located at 30th & South Cushman, in Fairbanks.



Here at Tundra Spas we have been the pioneers in low-energy, low- maintenance, no-freeze spas that others have tried to imitate but have not quite mastered. By implementing the Tundra Foam System into the already high-quality Clearwater Spas, we have enabled a virtually freeze proof design.  After many years of purchasing from Clearwater, we were proud to work with their engineers in 2006 to help them attain the Energy Smart Card rating for their spas. Today, we are proud to sell the Clearwater Spa to provide the State of Alaska with the most energy-efficient, well-built product of its kind.
